Walton has since released several models of its famed primo series. The Primo R2 is the newest addition and runs the latest Android Jell Bean 4.2.1. The phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad Core Cortex A7 processor PowerVR SGX544 Graphics. The system memory is 1 GB DDR3 RAM.
The phone’s display is 4.7 inch IPS Display with Pure Black 2nd Generation Gorilla Glass capacitive multitouch screen. Screen resolution is 1280x720 p. The phone’s dimensions are 138 x 71 x 10.1 mm and weighs 160 g. The phone is packed with a 2000 mAh Li-ion battery and also with all the necessary network features; includes EDGE, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. Dual DIM is enabled with dual standy and 3G network is allowed for both the SIMs, this means dual 3G SIM standby.
The release date is scheduled in the first week of August 2013 and the price is expected to be around 17000 – 18000 taka (218 – 231 USD in Bangladesh).
